Shawn is a private client solicitor.

Shawn advises individuals and families, primarily based in Asia with a UK or US connection on wealth structuring, from the perspective of tax mitigation and compliance. He focusses on the taxation of offshore trusts and vehicles, and family governance and succession.  His day-to-day work includes drafting trusts and multi-jurisdictional Wills, assisting with cross-border estate administration and structuring real estate acquisitions for tax efficiency.

Shawn is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and an international tax affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.  He is also accredited as a Family Office Advisor by the Wealth Management Institute of Singapore.

Shawn is admitted to practise in England & Wales and also admitted in Singapore.

Shawn is fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin Chinese, and understands basic Malay.
