Karen is a senior commercial lawyer specialising in technology, telecommunications, and data protection matters.

She advises both suppliers and customers on major technology procurements, complex commercial arrangements, and business‑critical infrastructure projects, including cloud, outsourcing, managed services, and “as a service” models. She is also highly experienced in supporting large‑scale digital transformation programmes and agile delivery environments.

Karen regularly advises on emerging technologies and the development and deployment of new digital products and services. As a leading data protection and privacy practitioner, she provides strategic guidance on personal information governance, data use practices, cross‑border transfer of data, audits, and the development of policies, manuals, and training programmes.

Known for her practical and commercially grounded advice, and works closely with clients to ensure regulatory requirements are translated into workable, business‑focused solutions.
