Career

Amanda graduated from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in July 2016.  She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2017 by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.  Upon completion of her pupillage with Raja,  Darryl & Loh, Amanda was admitted to the Peninsular Malaysian Bar in October 2018 and commenced her career in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Her focus thus far being on medical negligence, she has defended medical and dental professionals in civil claims at all levels of the Malaysian courts as well as at disciplinary inquiries before the Malaysian Medical Council and Malaysian Dental Council.

Drawing from her extensive litigation experience, Amanda provides litigation support and strategic legal advice to healthcare facilities and medical professionals, on a diverse range of matters from disciplinary issues to reputation management and documentation relating to the practice of medicine.  She is also experienced in media law.
