Mr. Zhang Maichang has been practising law since 2000. Over his two decades of practice, he has handled a large number of cases of various types, some of which have had significant social impact. Among them, an insurance company claims case was included in the Supreme People's Court's typical cases series, and a securities company wealth management case recovered hundreds of millions of yuan in losses for the client. Two of his cases were selected by over ten national media outlets including Legal Daily as one of the top ten "Influential Litigation" cases of the year, achieving the positive social effect of "promoting the rule of law through individual cases." Over the past decade, he has gradually focused on criminal cases, construction contract disputes, and lease contract disputes. As a university lecturer, he emphasises research on the latest legal provisions and academic achievements, bringing broad perspectives to case handling. He is diligent and responsible, with a modest and approachable demeanour, and enjoys a good reputation in the legal profession. Mr. Zhang is also highly passionate about public welfare. He authored "Stories on Fraud Prevention" for migrant workers, published by China Ocean Press. With the support of the Communist Youth League Shaanxi Provincial Committee and the Shaanxi Higher People's Court, he compiled "Criminal Case Moot Court Scripts" and "Civil Case Moot Court Scripts" for minors, which have been used in multiple schools across Shaanxi Province and have received widespread acclaim from both teachers and students.
