Ms. ZHANG Hui focuses on labour law legal services and has extensive experience, particularly in foreign-related labour legal services. Since joining Kangda in October 2021, she has provided legal services in company law and labour law to companies including Volkswagen (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and its multiple affiliated companies invested in China, Beijing MTR Corporation Limited, Beijing MTR Line 16 Company Limited, Beijing MTR Line 17 Company Limited, Beijing MTR Liancheng Commercial Operation Management Co., Ltd., Beijing Siwei Shichuang Technology Co., Ltd., and the Beijing Branch of Paige Biomedical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., especially foreign-invested and joint venture enterprises. Services include providing day-to-day legal advice, drafting and revising business contracts, investment agreements, company rules and regulations, and various legal documents related to labour and employment; providing legal services for employee placement in corporate reorganisations, asset transfers and other business arrangements; providing legal services related to foreigners working in China (work permit processing); assisting enterprises in layoffs; and representing clients in labour dispute cases and other civil cases. Prior to joining Kangda, she worked in the labour law team of JunHe LLP from June 2015 to September 2021 (officially practising since July 2017). In addition to her legal practice, she worked in the Policy and Regulation Department of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs from July 2009 to September 2014, participating in the drafting and revision of laws, regulations and policy documents including the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Administration of the Entry and Exit of Foreigners, and has extensive experience in legal matters relating to the employment of foreigners.
