Mr. Chen Han has nearly ten years of professional experience, focusing on dispute resolution in the capital markets. He has extensive practice experience in major commercial dispute resolution areas including corporate, securities and finance. He represented a listed company in a dispute concerning private placement in connection with a merger and acquisition restructuring, successfully obtaining pre-arbitration property preservation involving approximately RMB 400 million before the commencement of arbitration proceedings, and ultimately facilitating a settlement at the arbitration stage in a case involving approximately RMB 1.78 billion. As special legal counsel to a central state-owned enterprise, he participated in resolving historical issues in housing lease contract disputes concerning a large commercial plaza and a villa development, with a cumulative case value of nearly RMB 2 billion. Mr. Chen is also highly skilled in criminal defence and representation, as well as criminal reporting, and is particularly adept at handling complex criminal-civil cross-border cases. He has successively participated in handling multiple criminal cases with significant impact, involving the embezzlement of a Red Notice fugitive, bribery of a vice chairman of a municipal political consultative conference, and trade secret infringement by a well-known automobile company.
