Mr. Yang Hailong previously worked at an intermediate people's court and an intellectual property court in Beijing, where he undertook or participated in handling nearly 300 enforcement cases involving various civil and commercial judgments, arbitral awards, and notarised debt instruments, accumulating extensive experience in judicial adjudication and the full process of enforcement. He also participated in handling nearly 1,000 intellectual property cases involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, unfair competition, trade secrets, and franchise contracts, developing unique insights into intellectual property protection, management, and risk prevention.

After joining Kangda in 2017, he has led his team in handling various civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, enforcement, and intellectual property cases, providing standing legal advisory services to multiple large groups, and maximising the protection and realisation of clients' legitimate rights and interests.

  1. Li v. Meng housing sales contract dispute (representing the appellant, intervened at the second-instance stage, turned the case around, the court ordered a retrial, subsequently won at both first and second instance and successfully enforced to realise the client's claims).

  2. Huang v. Lu statutory inheritance dispute (representing the plaintiff, successfully facilitated mediation after filing, maximising protection of the client's legitimate rights and interests while helping all parties resolve family conflicts, receiving unanimous praise from all parties).

  3. Liu v. Jiang private lending dispute (representing the plaintiff, resolved through mediation, helping the client recover the full principal of over RMB 10 million and all interest calculated at an annual rate of 24%).

  4. Xu v. a Beijing asset management centre partnership withdrawal and dividend dispute (representing the plaintiff, helping the client recover millions of yuan in dividends and redeemed fund units).

  5. A large state-owned enterprise group v. a Fujian pipe technology company procurement contract dispute arbitration case (representing the respondent, the arbitration tribunal dismissed all of the applicant's claims and upheld all of the respondent's counterclaims, helping the client reduce and recover losses of over RMB 20 million).

  6. A large state-owned enterprise group v. a Zhejiang group company foreign-related cooperation agreement dispute arbitration case (representing the respondent, identified and precisely attacked loopholes in the applicant's arbitration application, ultimately resulting in the applicant withdrawing the arbitration application, reducing losses for the client by millions of yuan).

  7. A Beijing company v. the National Intellectual Property Administration and an overseas company administrative dispute regarding trademark invalidation declaration (representing the appellant, meticulously organised evidence, turned the case around, and successfully protected the client's trademark rights).

  8. A Beijing group company v. a Guangzhou consulting company and an Anhui consulting company series of trademark infringement and unfair competition disputes (representing the plaintiff, achieved full victories in the series of cases, with the court ordering the defendants to cease infringement and unfair competition, eliminate the impact and compensate for losses).

  9. A Hainan technology company v. a Shanghai art company trademark infringement and unfair competition dispute (representing the defendant on appeal, the court reversed the decision and upheld multiple appeal requests, minimising losses for the client).

  10. A Suzhou information technology company v. a technology telecommunications company computer software development contract dispute (representing the information technology company, intervened at the second-instance stage, successfully mediated before the Supreme People's Court, recovering all losses for the client).
