Mr. Wang Ke comes from a legal family and graduated from Southwest University of Political Science and Law. He serves as a member of the Enterprise Legal Practice Exchange Committee, a member of the Ethics Committee of the Fifth Medical Centre of the People's Liberation Army of China, a Senior Partner at Kangda Law Firm, Executive Director of the Finance Department, Deputy Director of the Finance Committee, Deputy Director of the Criminal Committee, an arbitrator of the Kunming Arbitration Commission, Vice Dean of the Advanced Defence College of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Adjunct Master's Supervisor of Capital University of Economics and Business, Practice Supervisor of the Criminal Justice School of China University of Political Science and Law, Practice Supervisor for Master of Laws students at Peking University Law School, and Practice Supervisor for Master of Laws students at the University of International Business and Economics, among others.
Mr. Wang Ke focuses his practice on criminal defence and major civil and commercial dispute resolution, and is particularly skilled in conducting in-depth legal analysis and crisis management through the integration of criminal and civil law, with strong communication and judgement abilities.
In 2010, Mr. Wang Ke established his own legal team and has since led the team in serving as legal counsel to numerous large enterprises (including well-known real estate companies, top-tier hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, industrial enterprises, A-share listed companies, and overseas-listed companies) as well as many renowned entrepreneurs, maintaining consistently good and harmonious cooperation and interaction with clients. He has extensive experience in criminal defence, criminal complaints, and various civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
Over the years, Mr. Wang Ke has demonstrated outstanding performance in corporate and personal crisis resolution, in-depth legal risk prevention and control, the characterisation and handling of criminal and civil conduct, and the defence of duty-related crimes and large-scale financial crimes. He has successively defended several major domestic financial cases, including a cross-border online gambling case (Zhuhai) involving a total amount of over RMB 80 billion and a group illegal fund-raising case (Beijing) involving over RMB 100 billion. In recent years, in the field of duty-related crimes, Mr. Wang Ke has defended numerous senior officials (at the vice-ministerial and bureau-director levels), bank presidents, chairmen of state-owned enterprises and central state-owned enterprises, influential entrepreneurs, and senior executives of top domestic enterprises. Within a single year, five of his criminal defence cases resulted in non-prosecution decisions and one resulted in an acquittal. His team (of 15 members), guided by the core principles of fact-seeking, verification, and results-oriented approach, has earned recognition and praise from clients for their meticulous criminal defence style.
