Duncan is a Managing Associate in our "absolutely stellar" Competition, Antitrust and Trade team in London. Duncan specialises in competition and regulatory law and has extensive experience of their application within a wide range of industries. He has advised on both UK and EU competition investigations and sector enquiries/market investigations, as well as Phase 1 and Phase 2 merger investigations. Duncan has also helped lead on the defence of some of the UK's most significant class action competition damages cases. Duncan has been described in the Legal 500 directory as "an outstanding associate, who is very knowledgeable" (2024) and “an exceptional associate [who] should be recognised as an upcoming leader” (2025).

• Litigation: Justin Le Patorel v BT (successfully defending BT in the first UK class action to go to trial); Nikki Stopford v Google (defending Google); Hydrocortisone NHS follow-on damages.
