Emmie acts for lenders and borrowers on both bilateral and syndicated loan transactions from investment grade to real estate to mid-market leverage finance. Her transactional banking practise covers the UK and international secured and unsecured loans. Emmie thrives on working on complex, multi-stakeholder transactions and providing a commercial and pragmatic approach. Emmie has key sector experience in healthcare, retail, leisure and project financing, and also has a keen interest and experience in green lending and sustainably linked lending.

Since joining Simmons & Simmons in 2011, Emmie has completed three secondments in a global financial institution, one within its investment banking Export Credit Agency and Capex Financing Solutions team and a further two secondments within its Corporate Banking Global Lending Group.

Emmie also has responsibility for developing key client relationships, understanding their strategic business needs and delivering bespoke solutions to help deliver on their objectives.
