Rich is a partner in our UK Digital Business group. He particularly advises on the sale and purchase of data, often in a regulated environment.

Rich’s practice also includes services agreements, technology contracts, cloud and SaaS agreements, open source software, benchmarks, electronic signature, and blockchain technology.

In relation to data, Rich has acted for many of the largest users and vendors of data in financial services, helping them put in place strategic licensing arrangements, buy and sell data businesses, or integrate data & licence rights management into their operational structure.

Rich brings a blend of technology, contracting, and financial regulatory experience to those situations, helping clients navigate complex technology driven legal issues.

Joining our Digital Business group in 2024, Rich is well regarded both in the industry and by clients, including winning industry awards for his legal tech products.
