Isabelle has wide-ranging expertise in the private equity sector and is particularly skilled at advising corporate and private equity funds on M&A, LBO, growth equity and venture capital deals.

Isabelle is a partner in our Paris Private Equity practice and advises European and US private equity funds in their investment in French companies, with a particular focus on leveraged buy-out transactions (LBOs).

She also advises the full range of investors and companies seeking venture capital investment in France and cross-border, at various stages from incubation and equity financing rounds to external growth transactions and exits, in many industry sectors mainly in Healthcare and Life Sciences.

Isabelle also undertakes corporate and commercial advisory work for a broad range of corporate clients and private equity portfolio companies.

She is well-known for her ability to structure and negotiate complex deals in a practical and business-oriented manner and lead them to successful conclusions.

Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons in 2025, Isabelle was the General Counsel for 3 years of one of the leading European biopharma investment companies.

Prior to that, Isabelle was a counsel in the corporate and private equity teams of Goodwin and King & Wood Mallesons LLP (formerly SJ Berwin) for 17 years.

She was also seconded in 2012 to Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados, one of the leading Brazilian law firms, in São Paulo.

Isabelle graduated from King’s College London (LLB) and the University of La Sorbonne in Paris.
