Michaël co-heads the Paris office Real Estate practice, incorporated in our Financial Markets Department.

Michaël advises on all aspects of real estate law. He has developed a seasoned experience in real estate investments, especially in the acquisition and sale of real estate assets, real estate portfolios and real estate companies relating to all class of assets such as offices, logistics, retails or data centres.

He has also acquired a strong expertise in creating real estate investment funds and setting up joint-ventures.

Finally, Michaël specializes in commercial leases and advises on real estate asset management. His activity also includes construction and development projects. Before joining Simmons & Simmons in July 2025, Michaël was the head of the Paris real estate practice at Hogan Lovells from April 2017 to June 2025, and real estate partner at Bersay & Associés law firm from 2014 to 2017. He was also a co-founding partner of Lawington law firm (2010). Before that, he practiced in the Clifford Chance's Paris real estate department for nine years (2001 – 2010) and for two years as a senior broker.
