Alex is a Principal Associate in the Employment team at Shoosmiths, advising employers on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

Alex is an experienced employment litigator who has particular expertise in complex discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal. He manages cases from inception to final hearing, including conducting his own advocacy.

Alongside his litigation practice, Alex advises on a wide range of sensitive employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, workplace investigations and senior executive exits.

Alex also regularly advises on business change projects and transactions, including business acquisitions, TUPE transfers and redundancy exercises.

Alex is known for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice tailored to clients' strategic objectives.

Dual-qualified in England & Wales and Northern Ireland, Alex frequently advises clients operating across both jurisdictions, and provides strategic support on cross-border employment law matters.

Alex completed his training at DLA Piper and subsequently joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2019. He joined Shoosmiths in 2023.
