Samuel Sung Mok Lee is a senior foreign attorney in the Intellectual Property Group at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. He focuses on cross-border intellectual property disputes, IP transactions and technology due diligence involving electrical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and software technologies.
Mr. Lee has extensive experience managing complex patent litigation in the United States, Germany, Japan and other major jurisdictions, including proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. federal courts. His experience spans technologies such as semiconductor memory, application processors, LEDs, displays, mobile devices, printers, data storage systems and lab-on-a-chip technologies.
Drawing on substantial in-house and private practice experience, Mr. Lee advises clients on patent licensing and acquisitions, freedom-to-operate analyses, patent portfolio management, e-discovery and global litigation strategy. He also assists Korean companies with overseas IP matters and foreign companies with Korean IP issues, providing practical and business-oriented advice throughout the lifecycle of their intellectual property assets.
