May has over a decade of experience advising on a broad range of domestic and international secured and unsecured lending transactions, including bilateral and syndicated banking facilities, acquisition financing, project financing, capital call facilities, real estate financing, working capital facilities and receivables financing. May has acted for various major domestic and foreign banks and financial institutions, as well as corporate borrowers (including SGX listed entities) and funds.

May is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. She is qualified to practise in Singapore as a Qualified Foreign Lawyer and is admitted to the Malaysian Bar and the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales.
