Rex is dual-qualified to practise both Singapore law and PRC law. He specialises in corporate finance, corporate and commercial transactions and regulatory compliance in Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Greater China. His principal areas of practice include cross-border investments, mergers and acquisitions, financing and initial public offerings, equity and debt issues, joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments.

Rex also has extensive knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape of Web 3.0, blockchain and cryptocurrencies. His clients include world-leading blockchain and cryptocurrency firms and exchanges.

Rex also advises high net worth individuals on setting up of family offices in Singapore and application to the Monetary Authority of Singapore for various tax exemptions and licensing exemptions.
