Career

Mr. Wang Dawei focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions, financial matters (particularly insurance-related matters) and administrative law affairs. His clients include state-owned, foreign-invested and privately owned enterprises, with a particular focus on the insurance, infrastructure and commercial retail sectors. Mr. Wang's experience covers a wide range of industries including banking, trust, private equity, machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, real estate development and broadcasting and media.

Mr. Wang has extensive experience in traditional greenfield investments, corporate M&A and financing transactions. He has provided legal research and analytical support to transaction parties in connection with due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiations, the drafting of legal documents and the completion of legal procedures. Mr. Wang has also developed substantial experience in corporate crisis management, risk resolution and disposal, as well as restructuring and liquidation involving both financial institutions and industrial enterprises. He has assisted corporate and governmental clients in resolving highly complex and non-standardized projects and legal issues.

Mr. Wang has advised and trained corporate clients and government authorities on the administrative, legislative, compliance and internal governance matters arising from business operations, cooperation and regulatory supervision. He also has extensive experience in assisting clients with crisis management and communications with the regulatory authorities. Mr. Wang has participated in many legislative, policy research and regulatory rule-making projects organized by Chinese government authorities.
