Ms. Zhang Meiyi joined JunHe in 2018 and specializes in dispute resolution. She provides legal advice to multi-national companies and national enterprises regarding PRC laws and she has led many civil, commercial and administrative cases, including numerous foreign-related cases.

A civil and commercial arbitration case led by Ms. Zhang concerning debt confirmation and guarantee enforcement during a listed company’s restructuring, was selected in the Top 10 Typical Arbitration Cases on Listed Company M&A and Restructuring and published by the China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Centre under the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA). A securities-related administrative case handled by Ms. Zhang was featured among the Top 10 Typical Cases in the Guangdong Provincial Higher People’s Court Annual Administrative Litigation White Paper, and a non-compete labor case handled by Ms. Zhang was included in Guangzhou Courts' Annual Top 10 Typical Labor Dispute Cases.

Ms. Zhang rapidly deciphers complex transaction structures and meticulously identifies critical case details, intricate legal theories and practical challenges. She has expertise in dispute resolution involving novel transactions and investment disputes, particularly in the intersection of civil/commercial and administrative law, and has extensive experience in managing complex cases. Ms. Zhang has been recognized as a Guangdong Provincial Emerging Talent for Foreign-related Legal Practice.
