Ms. Yu Zheng joined JunHe is 2016. Previously she worked for 11years as a Procecutor. Ms. Zheng is experienced in handling felonies and difficult, complex and unique cases, some of which have been selected as typical cases by the Procuratorate. Ms. Zheng was awarded an ‘Expert in Handling Cases’ by the Shanghai People's Procuratorate and an ‘Expert in Investigation Supervision’ by the Supreme People's Procuratorate. She has also been a lecturer at the National Prosecutors College.

Since joining JunHe, Ms. Zheng has focused on securities and commercial crime, as well as criminal compliance and risk prevention for large companies. She has participated in compliance investigations, criminal indictments and criminal defense in financial crimes as well as cases involving commercial bribery, embezzlements, foreign exchange and tax-related crimes and smuggling. Ms. Zheng has rich experience in handling intellectual property cases such as the infringement of trade secrets and counterfeit registered trademarks as well as cases involving environmental protection and safety production.

Zheng Yu provided legal services to many leading multinational companies regarding their business and investment projects in China. He has significant expertise and experience advising investors on complex foreign direct investments, cross-border M&A, dispute resolution (arbitration and litigation), corporate compliance, employment issues and tourism real estate projects in China. His sector experience includes energy, construction, infrastructure, environmental protection, manufacturing, automobiles, international trade, financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals, food safety and tourism.

The Chambers Asia Pacific journal recommended Zheng Yu as a leading lawyer in dispute resolution (2013, 2014 and 2015 editions), and Asia Pacific Legal 500 also recognized him as a leading lawyer in the areas of real estate and dispute resolution (2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions) and the area of corporate and M&A (2019 edition).
