Mr. Cui joined JunHe in April 2008 and currently practices at the firm’s Shanghai office.
Mr. Cui has broad experience in the resolution of complex international disputes, and he has represented various multi-national companies and other large-scale companies to successfully resolve a large number of disputes. Mr. Cui has been in charge of or participated in many litigations heard by Supreme People's Court, and many important and complicated arbitrations conducted in arbitration commissions, including SHIAC, Shanghai Arbitration Commission and CIETAC. Mr. Cui is specialized in handling disputes in connection with finance, real estate, project construction, leasing, product liability, equity transfer, corporate operation and so forth. Moreover, Mr. Cui has represented well-known multi-national companies successfully solving the disputes relating to clinical trials and medical malpractice.
Mr. Cui has extensive experience in dealing with corporation compliance matters as well. He was fully involved in the criminal procedures for GSK China, represented many multi-national companies in compliance investigations conducted by AIC and/or other administrative agencies, provided compliance training for them, and helped them review their business under the compliance requirements.
Mr. Cui has also dealt with many bankruptcy and compulsory liquidation cases. In the meantime, Mr. Cui participated in writing of the “Chinese Company Law Practice Guidelines – bankruptcy and liquidation” which was published by CCH in 2010.
Prior to joining JunHe, Mr. Cui had worked as an in-house counsel in a large real estate company.
Mr. Cui was recognized as the leading business lawyer of Lexology Index (formerly known as Who’s Who legal) 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024, recognized by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2024, and also recognized by 2025 Benchmark Litigation China. Mr. Cui is the arbitrator and mediator of SHIAC.
