Mr. Shawn Cao joined JunHe in 2014.  He provides legal services for major domestic enterprises and multi-national companies in corporate and M&A, foreign direct investments and PE/VC investments. Mr. Cao is experienced in industrial sectors such as energy and infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, information technology, catering and exhibition services. He has expertise in transaction structure design, legal due diligence, preparation of transaction documents, negotiation, closing and up to post-closing matters.

Mr. Cao has been the lead lawyer in many high profile M&A and investments, including without limitation, a multinational oil and gas company’s investment in a PRC LNG receiving terminal project, Avon’s sale of 100% equity in its PRC manufacturing facility to TheFaceShop, and  Ball Asia’s sale of its PRC packaging business to ORG Technology Co., Ltd. (SZ.002701). He was also involved in Tencent’s series E round investment in Tuhu.cn, Reed Exhibitions’ (a member of RELX Group) new joint venture cooperation with its domestic partners and Costa Coffee’s buyout of its joint venture partner’s equity.

In addition to the above, Mr. Cao also provides general corporate services for various foreign-invested and domestic enterprises.
