Ms. Zhang Haiyan is a consultant based in JunHe’s Guangzhou office. She began her career as a corporate legal counsel in 2004, transitioned to private practice as a full-time lawyer in 2010, and later became a partner at a leading law firm in Guangdong.

Ms. Zhang’s practice focuses on real estate and construction engineering, insurance and finance, and cross-border enterprise compliance. She specializes in complex dispute resolution, cross-border compliance, and strategic risk management.

Ms. Zhang provides comprehensive legal support to leading real estate developers and serves as a legal advisor and panel lawyer for major insurance companies. She has litigation experience in handling construction engineering, housing sales, commercial leasing and insurance contract dispute resolution. Ms. Zhang has advised on domestic and foreign employment and enterprise compliance to leading cross-border enterprises under the Belt and Road initiative. She has recently begun undertaking work in pioneering fields including cross-border intellectual property layout, marine insurance, and anti-dumping.
