Dr. Ziwei Zheng is a partner at JunHe LLP and is based in our Shanghai office.

Dr. Zheng specializes in corporate governance and practices in general corporate affairs, foreign investment, out-bond investment, fund formation, PE/VC investment, merger and acquisition, capital market and project finance.

Dr. Zheng practiced at Shanghai Licheng Law Office from 2007 to 2008. During that time, he participated in many complicated commercial litigations and obtained considerable experience in litigation procedures and strategies.

Upon the graduation from Durham University with a Ph.D. in law, Dr. Zheng joined JunHe LLP (Shanghai office) and became a member of the capital market group in 2014. Since 2014, his practice areas include general corporate affairs in foreign and domestic enterprises, foreign investment, out-bond investment, fund formation, merger and acquisition, PE/VC investment, domestic and off-shore IPOs, project finance, trust and ABS business. He represents and provides legal services to various international corporations, private enterprises, state-owned enterprises and investment funds, in the fields of bio-pharmaceuticals, medical devices, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, e-commerce, financial services, real estate, education and TMT.

In 2024, Dr. Zheng was recommended by China Business Law Journal (CBLJ) as one of the Rising Star Lawyers in the industry.
