Ms. Liao has been working as a legal professional for over fifteen years. She joined JunHe in June 2001 and became Counsel in March 2011. Since 2001, she has represented many multinational companies in merger and acquisition projects, direct investment projects and financing transactions involving loans by overseas financial institutions to Chinese enterprises. She has also provided legal advice to many foreign invested companies and state-owned companies on their corporate matters and compliance cases. Over this period, Ms. Liao practiced in various industries, such as medical, chemicals, automobile, real estate, wholesale and retail, logistics, insurance, internet and cultural industries. In March 2012, Ms. Liao participated in an exchange program sponsored by JunHe and A&L Goodbody (Ireland) and worked in the Dublin headquarters of A&L Goodbody for three months.

For two years starting in May 2013, Ms. Liao worked in Legal Department of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) as a senior in-house counsel and was responsible for legal matters in large projects of CNOOC and its subsidiaries, including M&A, domestic investments, syndicated loans, bond-issuing and disposal of equities and assets, etc.

In July 1, 2015, Ms. Liao returned to JunHe and resumed her practice in the field of M&A, direct foreign investment and corporate law.
