Mr. Sun Jiangang joined JunHe in 2006, transitioning from a judicial role to the field of foreign-related legal services. Over the past two decades, he has handled numerous corporate mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and outbound projects. Representative matters include acting for Tencent in its strategic investment in Pinduoduo; advising Wolong Group on the establishment of a global automotive motor joint venture with ZF Friedrichshafen AG; representing Wagas in securing strategic investment from Advent International; and acting for SGSB Group (600843) in acquiring SONOTRONIC GmbH, among others.

In response to the evolving Chinese legal and market landscape, Sun has pioneered research in the non-governmental organization (NGO) sector and provided professional legal services to dozens of internationally renowned NGOs. Notable work includes assisting the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in obtaining the first-ever NGO registration license for the accounting industry in China, and helping the Marriott Family Foundation become the first NGO in the cultural and tourism sector to establish a presence in Shanghai.

Sun has a broad and well-recognized career in the legal profession. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Xuhui Bar Association, part-time LLM mentor at East China University of Political Science and Law, Fudan University School of Law, and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, and he is a key member of the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring Research Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association.

Sun is the recipient of numerous honors, including Shanghai Oriental Talent, Innovative Legal Talent recognized by the Shanghai Justice Bureau, Guangqi Top Talent of Xuhui District, Outstanding Party Affairs Worker of Xuhui District, and nominee for the Shanghai Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. He has also been repeatedly recommended as a leading lawyer by prestigious legal publications such as Chambers, The Legal 500, China Business Law Journal, Asian Legal Business, and the China Legal Education and Career Seminar Series (CLECSS).
