Daisuke Fukamizu primarily handles crisis management, government agency relations, compliance, and risk management, having handled numerous major corporate cases both domestically and internationally. As a specially appointed professor at Kyoto University, he actively engages in research on corporate crime both domestically and internationally, including speaking at The Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime and organizing the White Collar Crime Workshop. Furthermore, based on his experience, he was appointed as a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's “Study Group on New Governance Models for Society 5.0” and selected for the Advisory Board of Integrity Distributed. He has been selected for The Legal 500's “Asia Pacific Next Generation Lawyers” (four consecutive years), named an Asia Outstanding Legal Professional in ALB's “40 under 40 (2019)”, and received the “Young Lawyer of the Year” award at the ALB Japan Law Awards 2020. In recent years, he has received numerous accolades from external evaluation organizations, including being named “Japan Lawyer of the Year” at the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Awards 2024.
