Position
Pauline is a Partner and Head of the Firm's Intellectual Property & Technology Department.
Career
She has advised and acted for many foreign and local multinational companies on a wide range of matters spanning the full spectrum of intellectual property and ancillary rights in Malaysia.
In the field of contentious IP, Pauline has appeared on behalf of rights holders in the High Court of Malaya, the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court in high profile patent, trade mark and copyright lawsuits.
Pauline has crafted many anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy programs in the criminal enforcement of IP rights, and she has worked hand-in-hand with local law enforcement agencies and private investigation firms in conducting numerous raid actions against counterfeiters.
Pauline’s non-contentious practice spans the formulation of IP strategies and policies in protecting trade marks, patents, designs and copyright as well as advising on prosecution and management of IP portfolios. Apart from drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements, Pauline’s advice is regularly sought in IP-centric due diligences and transactions where IP is at the core of a major business deal.

Pauline was a Government of Malaysia scholar. She is a registered Malaysian trade mark agent, a registered Malaysian industrial design agent and a registered Malaysian patent agent. Pauline is also a member of APAA, AIPPI, AOTS, ASEAN IPA and MIPA.
Education
Pauline graduated from the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1996.
