As President Director of PT Freeport Indonesia since 2018, Tony has led one of the world’s most respected mining companies in maintaining global benchmarks in safety, environmental management, and operational excellence. He has worked closely with both government and international partners to ensure long-term investment confidence, commercial stability, and responsible resource development within one of Indonesia’s most critical sectors.

Tony’s unique background combines a legal foundation with extensive experience in corporate restructuring, stakeholder management, and cross sector collaboration. Prior to his tenure at Freeport Indonesia, he held senior positions in PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper, PT Berkat Resources Indonesia, Intrepid Mines Limited, PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. His experience spans law, public policy, corporate affairs, and sustainability.
