Ed is a commercial property and construction lawyer and Managing Partner of the firm.

In property, Ed advises national and international clients on the full range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, development, and leasing. He acts for listed entities on the New Zealand and Australian exchanges, state-owned enterprises, developers, landlords, and tenants, and has been involved in some of the most significant commercial development projects in the market.

In construction, Ed acts for both principals and contractors, including several of New Zealand's largest construction companies, across commercial developments and major infrastructure projects. His experience spans PPP, alliance, design and build, NEC and FIDIC contract forms, and covers projects across the commercial, industrial, road and rail, and public sector space. His understanding of the commercial drivers on both sides of the contract sets him apart as an adviser on complex projects.
