Mark is an intellectual property lawyer advising on copyright, trade marks, brand protection, design rights, passing off, Fair Trading Act claims, and confidential information disputes. He acts for both New Zealand and international clients, bringing a cross-border perspective to IP matters that increasingly require coordinated protection and enforcement across multiple jurisdictions.

Mark's practice extends to consumer law, Consumer Guarantees Act matters, and privacy, and he has developed particular expertise in food law, spanning labelling and compliance, nutritional claims, product development, and recalls, as well as advertising law and ASA Codes. He advises clients across the FMCG, liquor, fashion, and advertising sectors, where brand value and regulatory compliance are closely intertwined.
