Samantha Farndale is a Partner working across Stowe Family Law’s London and East of England regions. She qualified as a solicitor in January 2016, having previously worked as a paralegal and commenced her training contract in 2014.

Before joining Stowe, Samantha worked for Legal 500-ranked firms in central London and Newcastle. She joined Stowe’s St Albans and Berkhamsted offices as a Senior Associate in 2021 and was promoted to Partner in 2023.

Samantha advises on divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, nuptial agreements and domestic abuse. She has particular expertise in mid to high-net-worth financial cases and extensive experience involving public-sector and final-salary pension schemes.

Her children law practice covers both private and public law proceedings, including complex cases involving parental alienation. Her successful cases include overturning a change-of-residence order on appeal, securing a section 91(14) order following repeated children proceedings and defending a conduct argument in financial remedy proceedings.

Samantha is a member of Resolution and an accredited Resolution Specialist in complex financial remedies, cohabitation and TOLATA matters.

Samantha studied Law at Northumbria University, where she also completed her Legal Practice Course and master’s degree.

Outside work, Samantha enjoys travelling, dining out, spinning classes and long walks in the countryside.
