Career

Hannah Bridgwood is a Partner working across Stowe Family Law’s Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Lincoln offices. She qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has specialised exclusively in family law throughout her career.

Hannah advises on all aspects of family law, with particular expertise in divorce and complex financial matters involving high-value businesses, property portfolios and pensions. She also advises on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation breakdowns and non-court dispute resolution.

Her children law practice includes child arrangements, domestic and international relocation, specific issue and prohibited steps applications, and proceedings in which children are joined as parties. Hannah also has extensive experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse and helping protect them and their children.

Her reported cases include:

  • P & Anor v S & Anor [2025] EWHC 944 (Fam), representing a mother in an appeal concerning the interaction between domestic law and the Hague Convention

  • P & Anor v S v Anor [2025] EWHC 468 (Fam), successfully obtaining permission to appeal on two grounds

Education

Hannah completed her Law degree at Keele University and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester.
