Gemma Artus is a Partner covering Stowe Family Law’s Surrey and Sussex region. She qualified in 2015 at a boutique firm in North London before joining a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked firm in South West London. Gemma joined Stowe’s Esher office as a Senior Associate in February 2021.

Gemma advises on all areas of family law, including divorce and civil partnership dissolution, cohabitation and disputes between unmarried couples, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and private children matters.

Gemma also contributes to a pilot project with the legal charity Law for Life, helping to provide affordable legal advice. Where possible, she offers pro bono advice through her local Citizens Advice Bureau.

Gemma is an active member of Resolution and the Association of London Welsh Lawyers.

Gemma studied at the University of Wales, Swansea.

Outside work, Gemma enjoys playing netball, watching live rugby and travelling.
