Emma Newman graduated in Law from Nottingham Trent University and completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. She qualified as a solicitor in 1999 at a Surrey firm and has practised family law in Surrey ever since.

Before joining Stowe Family Law, Emma was Deputy Head of the family law department at a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked firm. She is now the Managing Partner for the Southern Home Counties, heading up a team of lawyers across the Esher, Guildford, and Tunbridge Wells offices.

Emma is a Resolution Accredited Family Law Specialist, with accreditations in Financial Provision and Children Law.

Outside of her professional life, Emma enjoys a busy family life. She loves cooking, particularly baking and decorating cakes, and has a passion for foreign travel, going to the theatre, and appreciating art.
