Career

A partner and notary public in the private client department. Elspeth specialises in both contentious and non-contentious estate and Court of Protection matters, including wealth and estate planning for high net worth individuals, the preparation of Wills and Trusts, and completing estate administrations.

Elspeth has unique experience in complex estate administrations, including those involving cross-border issues. Her experience extends across working on estates involving assets in various jurisdictions, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Uganda, United States and Uruguay. Elspeth is regularly entrusted with politically sensitive estates. She has acted for various family members of the Grenfell fire victims and Hillsborough disaster victims.

Elspeth regularly advises on and creates all kinds of trust including Personal Injury Trusts and Disabled Discretionary Trusts.

Elspeth is able to accept appointments as a professional attorney and deputy. She is also a notary public and can assist individuals and corporate entities with the authentication of documents for use abroad.

Elspeth provides pro bono advice to a number of charities, including Age UK Camden and the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. She is happy to arrange workshops for charities and community centres, in and around, London.

Elspeth is happy to meet clients at our offices in Camden and Hampstead.
