Career

Sophie Davies is a Partner and Head of Personal Injury department at Osbornes Law.

A catastrophic injury litigator with over 20 years’ experience, she acts only for Claimants and specialises in claims for brain injury, amputation and polytrauma/complex orthopaedic injuries. Most of her cases arise from accidents at work or road traffic accidents, including cycle accidents.

She also heads up the Spanish lawyers team. She has many clients from Spain, and from the Spanish community in the UK.

Sophie and Osbornes have close links with Headway East London, a charity dedicated to the support and rehabilitation of people with acquired brain injury. Sophie is a regular contributor to their blog page.

Sophie understands how crucial early access to rehabilitation is in improving outcomes for injured people and fights hard to put interim payments in the hands of her clients at the earliest opportunity.

Sophie is always happy to answer enquiries about new claims and understands that the decision of whether to bring a claim is not always straightforward.

Memberships

Sophie is on the Law Society personal injury panel, is an APIL accredited senior litigator and is recognised as a leading practitioner in both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.

Education

She was educated at the University of Oxford, the University of Wales and the College of Law.

Leisure

Outside work Sophie finds that all her free time belongs to her two young sons who keep her on her toes!
