Career

Stacey is a highly experienced solicitor who has worked at Olliers for 25 years. She is responsible for all aspects of financial and operational compliance and is the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) as well as the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA).

Before moving into her current leadership role, Stacey built a strong reputation in criminal defence, specialising in serious crime and fraud. She acted in complex and high-profile cases involving prosecutions brought by the CPS, HMRC, the Serious Fraud Office, and the Serious Organised Crime Agency. Her casework included serious sexual offences, large-scale drug conspiracies, murder, and financial crime. She also developed particular expertise in the early stages of criminal investigations, regularly advising clients during police interviews and preparing detailed pre-charge representations.

Stacey was recognised in the Legal 500 as a “recommended individual,” described as “always mindful of achieving the best outcome for the client.”

She now ensures the entire firm adheres to Olliers’ Service Pledge, overseeing all aspects of our processes and procedures to deliver optimum levels of client care. In addition, Stacey manages data protection, risk, and compliance across the firm and plays a key role in the Senior Management Team.

Stacey coordinates our annual Legal Aid Agency audits and monitoring visits, maintaining strong relationships with the LAA and ensuring continued compliance.
