Laura is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial team, and specialises in advising clients on intellectual property, technology and commercial contracts. Her clients include tech start-ups and household technology brands, as well as a wide range of charities and SMEs on commercial contracts and IT outsourcing arrangements.

She has particular expertise in advising on EdTech and MedTech, on contracting for sustainable supply chains, and advising clients on the ever-changing legal requirements and landscape surrounding AI and ethical AI.

Examples of Laura’s recent work include advising a UK based generic medical device manufacturer on drafting and negotiating an agreement with a pharmaceutical company for the development of a generic device for use with certain medications; and supporting a medical research funding organisation on a complex negotiation of a master services agreement which involved significant consideration of both IP and quality control related matters.
