Position

Eloise is an Associate in the Public and Regulatory team and advises on the full range of public law issues clients bring, both contentious and advisory. She also has had previous experience working with large social and healthcare regulators, as well as training in civil litigation representing legal aid clients.

Eloise has represented Interested Persons in complex inquest proceedings, including charities and organisations with hybrid public/private functions, and for claimants and defendants in Human Rights Act 1998 claims. She acts for clients with Core Participant status in high-profile public inquiries.

Her recent work includes successfully obtaining funding from the Department of Health and Social Care to act as an individual’s Recognised Legal Representative; and representing a senior executive in connection with the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry.

Eloise also has experience in the education sector including defending Equality Act claims in the First-Tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability), representing schools and academies in relation to complaints against non-ministerial departments.
