Position

Mark is a Senior Associate in the Charity and Social Enterprise team at Bates Wells and a “Roll A” Parliamentary Agent, able to assist charities and other organisations governed by private Acts of Parliament in updating governing documents and powers to better achieve their missions.

He advises on constitutional reviews, complex trust and charity law, membership organisation governance, and compliance with Charity Commission guidance and the Charity Governance Code. Mark also supports clients on information law, election and campaigning regulations, and grant-funding or contractual arrangements.

In addition to providing practical legal advice, he is active in writing and speaking on issues affecting charities and purpose-driven organisations.
