Position

Lindsay is the Head of Competition in the Corporate and Commercial team at Bates Wells, specialising in UK competition law, EU competition issues in the post-Brexit landscape, and economic regulatory matters. She brings more than two decades of specialist experience, gained in top-tier competition practices and a government regulator.

She advises on the full spectrum of competition law, including anti-competitive conduct, market studies and investigations, merger control and sectoral regulation. Lindsay also supports clients on UK subsidy control, public procurement and retained EU regulatory regimes such as export controls. She works with public, private, and non-profit organisations across the UK economy and is known for her practical, engaging approach to competition compliance training.

Working with organisations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, she is particularly recognised for helping clients build practical competition compliance cultures through clear, accessible training and guidance.
