Career
Harshita Setpal (“Haz”) is a Junior Associate at A&CO Law Office, with a practice focusing on Debt Restructuring, Intellectual Property, Criminal Litigation, Civil and Commercial Litigation.
Haz graduated from the Faculty of Law, Tarumanagara University in 2023, with a strong record of academic and extracurricular excellence. She was awarded the Most Outstanding Student (Academic) Scholarship in 2019 and 2020, followed by the Most Outstanding Student (Non-Academic) Scholarship in 2021 and 2022.
During her academic years, Haz was highly active in student leadership and advocacy communities, including the Student Executive Board (BEM) at both faculty and university levels, as well as the Debate and Moot Court Community. She represented her university in numerous national competitions and achieved multiple awards across moot court, debate, legal writing, and legal infographic categories.
She also gained early litigation exposure through her internship at Perhimpunan Bantuan Hukum Indonesia (PBHI), one of Indonesia’s leading legal aid organizations.
Prior to joining A&CO in February 2024, Haz worked in-house at a publicly listed palm oil plantation company in Jakarta, providing her with practical commercial and regulatory insight.
At A&CO, Haz is regularly involved in enforcement actions against unlicensed software usage in Indonesia, representing leading multinational software companies such as Bentley Systems and Siemens Digital Industries Software in investigations, raids, negotiations, and dispute proceedings. She also assists in restructuring matters, intellectual property disputes, and complex civil and commercial litigation.
Haz passed the Indonesian Bar Examination administered by the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) in 2025 and is currently awaiting formal admission as a licensed advocate.
