Ardhiyasa Suratman (“Dias”) is the Founder and Managing Partner of A&CO Law Office, a Jakarta-based Indonesian law firm focusing on intellectual property disputes, enforcement, and brand protection, alongside strategic support in commercial disputes, debt recovery, and insolvency (PKPU).

Dias has been a licensed Indonesian advocate (PERADI) since 2008 and a licensed Intellectual Property Consultant since 2015, enabling him to advise clients on end-to-end legal strategies, from investigation and enforcement through to dispute resolution and litigation. He is also licensed as Suspension of Debt Payment (PKPU) Receiver and Bankruptcy Trustee

With extensive experience gained from years of practice in several prominent Indonesian intellectual property and corporate law firms, Dias is recognized for delivering commercially driven legal strategies, particularly in high-stakes matters where legal risk must be carefully aligned with clients’ operational and reputational considerations.

Dias has substantial experience in software licensing enforcement matters in Indonesia and has handled numerous cases involving the unauthorized use of licensed software, including investigation coordination, evidence management, enforcement planning, and dispute strategy. He is frequently instructed by leading U.S.-based software developers in enforcing their licensing rights and addressing infringement issues in the Indonesian market.

In addition, Dias has a strong track record in handling major Suspension of Debts Payment (PKPU) and bankruptcy matters, including creditor-side strategies and contentious negotiations in complex restructuring environments. He is also regularly retained by international trade credit insurance companies and global leasing companies to conduct debt recovery work, including the execution stage and asset enforcement/execution actions, requiring a combination of litigation strategy, recovery planning, and on-the-ground coordination. Clients and international partners value Dias for his hands-on, partner-led approach, responsiveness, and ability to provide clear, outcome-oriented advice that is both legally robust and commercially practical.
