Gavin Goffe is Head of MF&G’s Litigation Department and Industrial Relations Practice Group and is widely recognised as one of Jamaica’s leading employment and public law litigators. He has led numerous landmark cases that have shaped employment and administrative law in Jamaica.

- Successfully defended employer vaccination policies during the COVID-19 pandemic (Parkins v Cari-Med Group).
• Defended the largest employee award at the time before the Court of Appeal (ATL Group Pension Fund Trustees v IDT).
• Obtained injunctions against the State in constitutional class-action litigation concerning unlawful traffic enforcement.
• Successfully quashed Industrial Disputes Tribunal awards, clarifying jurisdictional limits on redundancy claims.
• Challenged ministerial referrals to the IDT on grounds of waiver.
