Career

Michael Craven has represented clients in all aspects of family law for over 40 years. He has extensive experience negotiating settlements, mediating conflicts, and advocating for his clients in court when necessary. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) with extensive tax law experience.

An advocate for his clients, Michael understands the divorce process can be difficult and overwhelming, and he works alongside his clients through each step. Michael looks for solutions that work best for both his clients and their families, and helps his clients make smart and informed decisions while accounting for their individual and unique situations.

Michael strives to reach his clients’ goals without a long and disjointed court battle. As a trained mediator and collaborative law attorney, he can offer clients alternatives to litigation to resolve their disputes. When a case cannot be resolved without litigation, Michael brings decades of in-court experience on behalf of his clients. Michael is dedicated to keeping the best interest of children at the forefront of every family law case.

Michael is a Fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and volunteers at The Lilac Tree, an organization dedicated to providing support, education, and resources to individuals and families involved in the divorce process.
