Career

Bobby Hawkins is a well-established business litigation attorney with decades of experience. His diverse practice spans a wide array of areas, including matters involving contract disputes, fraud and other torts, partnership and shareholder litigation, financial compliance issues, labor and employment matters, workplace health and safety, and government investigations.

Bobby has represented individuals, as well as companies of all sizes, as plaintiffs and defendants, and has provided critical and effective counseling for his clients with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach. His practical experience extends to all phases of litigation, including pre-claim assessment and risk management, pleadings and discovery, extensive motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, evidentiary hearings, trials, and appeals.

Bobby has substantial trial experience in Texas state and federal courts and has handled numerous appeals at both the federal and state levels. Prior to joining Platt Richmond, he practiced at a large international law firm after having served as a law clerk for Judge Jane Boyle in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
