Dr. Andrew Saliba is a comprehensive advocate at Dalli Advocates, with experience in corporate, commercial, and civil law. He integrates a practical and solution-oriented approach to provide guidance and representation to both private and corporate clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Dr Saliba graduated as Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2016 and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2017. He previously obtained his Bachelor of Laws summa cum laude and received academic recognition for two consecutive years during his doctoral studies, including the Dean’s List Award for Best Academic Performance in 2015. His doctoral thesis, which examined the regulation of live adult entertainment, was awarded a distinction.
Planning, real estate, public contracts, insurance, defamation, and liability (both contractual and otherwise) are the primary areas of his work. Dr. Saliba has extensive experience managing complex conflicts across multiple regulatory frameworks and frequently represents clients before the Courts of Malta, administrative tribunals and boards, and the Malta Arbitration Centre.
In addition to his litigation practice, Dr. Saliba also provides legal counsel to numerous corporate and public-sector clients. His consulting services encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines, such as public procurement, industrial relations, employment, insurance-related disputes and transactions, and complex commercial agreements. Dr Saliba also offers guidance on employment and regulatory compliance.
The practicality with which Dr. Saliba handles advice and conflict resolution matters is well appreciated by his clients. Collaborating closely with colleagues from other practice areas, Dr. Saliba provides commercially informed and coherent legal advice to ensure that each client's individual objectives are addressed.
