Career

Kate is a Partner at The International Family Law Group LLP, having joined the firm in September 2025 following eight years at another boutique family law practice (and four as a Partner).

Kate is a specialist financial remedies practitioner, and advises on complex cases, whether on divorce or separation, often for high or ultra-high net worth clients, and is committed to curating bespoke solutions that best reflect the client’s individual circumstances and their personal objectives.

Kate is also highly experienced in the negotiation and drafting of nuptial agreements.

Complementing her specialist knowledge of financial litigation, Kate also advises parents in relation to disputes about the care of and financial provision for their children.

As an integral part of her practice, Kate actively considers alternative forms of non-court dispute resolution and will make every effort to settle cases where appropriate. She will also litigate robustly should the circumstances require such an approach.

Kate is also a Resolution-trained Mediator.

Kate prides herself on her client service and believes this is reflected in the positive working relationships she nurtures with her clients and other professionals.

Kate is Co-Chair of Wellington College’s Law Careers Opportunity Group (COG), an organisation designed to promote aspiring young lawyers within the legal community. Kate supports the careers programmes in other schools too, including Woldingham School and The Winston Churchill School. She speaks regularly at careers events.

Leisure

Kate loves the outdoors, whether gardening, walking or battling another ‘hill’ in the Lake District and other such beautiful places in the UK. Time with her young family is most precious, with her two-legged and four-legged companions constantly keeping her on her toes!
