Career
Rasha is a legal consultant with over 12 years of experience advising government bodies and engineering consultancies, particularly within Lebanon’s Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR). She specializes in construction law, FIDIC contracts, public procurement, dispute resolution mechanisms, and comparative law. She previously served as Senior Legal Consultant at ITEC (IT Engineering & Consulting) / CDR from 2011 to 2022, where she drafted and negotiated contracts, managed public procurement processes, handled FIDIC claims, and supported dispute resolution matters. Since 2014, she has also worked as a Legal Consultant with the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) in Geneva, providing research and legal advisory in peacebuilding and rights advocacy. In parallel, she has been a lecturer at CNAM Lebanon since 2018, teaching Construction Law at the Faculty of Engineering, as well as Corporate Law, Contracts, and Labor Law.
